CDS² helps U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration launch National Engagement Series
April 2014

Washington D.C., April 18, 2014 - Command Decisions Systems & Solutions Inc., (CDS2), a woman-owned small business located in Washington D.C., is excited to announce its support of the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Employment and Training Administration (ETA). CDS2 is providing technical assistance for the Workforce Innovation Fund.

The Eye on the Workforce Innovation Fund Stakeholder Engagement Series, Innovating for Change, was launched last month to provide a national forum for the public workforce system to discuss the power and promise of innovation. The series will afford DOL the opportunity to engage nationally with its valued stakeholders and to learn about promising practices that can successfully help businesses thrive and Americans get good jobs.

U.S. Secretary of Labor Thomas E. Perez and ETA Acting Assistant Secretary Eric Seleznow kicked off the Stakeholder Series with a live stream panel discussion on March 27, 2014. The Innovating @ the Speed of Business event also featured Kate McAdams, Senior Advisor to U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker, and two Workforce Innovation Fund grantees: Workforce Initiative Association (Ohio) and Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board (Pennsylvania).

We invite you to watch the archived video on DOL’s YouTube channel, and read a recap of the event on DOL’s official blog, Work in Progress.
