-- contribute to the development of a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) that maps requirements identified in the system requirements documentation to functional test procedures and the results.
-- support the determination of the objective and scope of each test event based on software updates/modifications /removal for each build.
--support the determination of test limitations and mitigation, identification of risks to test, and establishment /completion of test entry and exit criteria
-- support the determination of required test architecture, scope and schedule/duration for test completion.
-- support and participate in reviews, boards and status/coordination meetings with the IPT and with the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) sponsor to include: Test Readiness Reviews, Technical Review Boards, Technical Exchange Meetings, Engineering Review Boards, local Change Control Boards and Project Office Change Control Boards.
Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, mathematics, or systems engineering.
Software Engineer only: Working towards the following certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties: Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) (Previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP)), or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), other).
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in the technical writer field, to include: Systems/Equipment Support, and Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR requirements. One (1) year of technical experience in support of Marine Corps Tactical Data systems such as COC, JTCW, GCCS-TCO, AFATDS, CPOF, or other relevant tactical systems. Experience with in either Windows and/or RedHat.
